Gurdjieff (グルジェフ, Gurujefu) is a character that appears in Mechanical Violator Hakaider. He is the governor of Jesus Town senate.
Biography[]
Gurdjieff professes peace and love for the citizens of Jesus Town, but in reality he has an arrogant personality, and he does not hesitate to say that the citizens are "beautiful" because they continues to follow his will. His peace is also a "false peace" that is established by capturing criminals who defy him, implanting metal chips in them to brainwash them or eliminate them. Most of Jesus Town's citizens, however, have largely accepted his reign of terror and false peace, and feel a strong sense of euphoria as a result of his achievement.
In order to further strengthen his control, Gurdjieff created Hakaider, but he could not control it and discarded it, Using Hakaider's failure as a reference, he create a newly high-performace android: Michael.
Hakaider appears in Jesus Town, so he reveals Hakaider's background to Michael and orders him to eliminate him. Hakaider, who was appalled at the abomination of Gurdjieff, who begged for his life in unseemly self-defense for putting himself on the shelf while oppressing many unresisting living people, spit on him, saying, "It's not worth killing.".
However, Gurdjieff, who was once overlooked, picked up a part of the Michael Tank's firearm that happened to be nearby and pointed it at Hakaider, who was about to leave. Due to the above actions, Hakaider approached Gurdjieff with tremendous speed and punched him in the stomach, killing him.
Last Judgement[]

Gurdjieff returned in Mechanical Violator Hakaider: Last Judgement. Appeared immediately after Gill, the new ruler of Jesus Town, was defeated by Hakaider. However, when Gurdjieff appeared there, he had the same appearance as Hakaider. After dying once 10 years before him, he revived by transplanting his brain into the Hakaider-type body, and at the same time created Gill as a substitute for himself.
When he met Hakaider again for the first time in 10 years, Gurdjieff took a tolerant attitude, saying, "The past is enough", and proposed to recreate the world together with Hakaider. As expected, he was rejected by Hakaider, so the battle began in the form of a final battle. Since he is the same type as Hakaider, Gurdjieff attacked with Hakaider Shot in the battle scene.
He speaks with the same arrogant and relaxed tone as when he was a human, but he actually harbors a strong hatred for Hakaider, who once killed him. As soon as Hakaider saw through his true intentions in battle, he threw away his initial leeway and went into a frenzy, and his whole body changed color from blue to red as if in response to his anger.
The attack method has also changed, and it will be able to unleash the equipped gun on the right arm and the clones attack. Finally defeated by Hakaider. He died his second death with a cursed death roar.

Portrayal[]
Gurdjieff was portrayed by Yasuaki Honda (本田 恭章, Honda Yasuaki). In Last Judgement, his voice was provided by Shinichiro Miki (三木 眞一郎, Miki Shin'ichirō).

- Gurdjieff's tentative name at the script stage was Shirakura (白倉).[1]
- In the manga version, it is said that he was a disciple of Professor Gill.
