Nobuhiko Komyoji
Nobuhiko Komyoji (光明寺 信彦, Kōmyōji Nobuhiko) is the chief researcher of the ARK Project. Believing that robots intended for peaceful use require a human-like "heart," he develops the Conscience Circuit. Despite devoting himself to research for years and becoming estranged from his children, he dies in an accident during an experiment, secretly orchestrated by Gilbert Kanzaki. After the staff roll, it is revealed by Tsubakitani and others that his brain is being preserved.
