The Blaster (ブラスター, Burasutā <Hakai Kōsen>, lit. "Destructive Ray") is the most powerful weapon used by Kikaider in both the manga and anime adaptations of the series. This formidable weapon releases a devastating energy beam from Kikaider's eyes, capable of immense destruction. Its power is so great that it can instantly obliterate other powerful characters, such as 01 and 00, and even Bijinder in the manga version.
Although Jiro (Kikaider's human form) was aware of the Blaster's potential, he initially chose not to use it due to the immense destructive capability it possessed. However, after being implanted with a Submission Circuit that influenced his actions, Jiro was compelled to use the Blaster without hesitation, effortlessly destroying 01 and others.
In Kikaider 02, the Blaster's function is further refined. It is described as a weapon that "fires thermal energy based on plasma principles," and Kikaider utilizes it from the moment of activation.
